Good Office Day was created in 2020 by two highly-organized architects with a passion for design and the simplest tools of the trade, like notebooks, binders and functional paperpads. Good design matters. It’s the way we make sense of everything around us. The best design is the simplest one that works. Nature is a grand design that we can only understand with humility.

With an eye on both, we can shape our small spaces, like our homes and our offices into places of sanctuary.

The name of the brand is a homage to one of the founder's grandfather, who would always say, “now you have a good day---a good play day, a good day off, a good school day or a good office day.” This straightforward, but mighty expression isn’t just a reminder for everyday life or a rehearsed response, but the entire Good Office Day brand. How can we make today a good day? For you, your office, your workload, your partner, our planet? We’re determined to do our best to bring the goodness to all the above in whatever ways we can, and if that means we cannot do it alone, we’ll work with the people who know more than us and learn. Because when it comes to sustainability, humility and collaboration is just as good as setting a high bar.

“Everyone has their own version of what a good office day should look like,” say the founders, “and we want to add to that, giving consumers products and access to resources that make their work lives easier as well as something they could feel good about buying. It’s important for us to give people simple opportunities to feel like they are doing their part to help take care of the world, making sustainability more attainable and less preachy.”
